His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has today flagged off the of distribution of COVID-19 palliative to the beneficiaries across the state.
At the occasion held at BSADP, the governor said the distribution exercise was part of his administration’s modest efforts to bring succour to citizens especially at critical period.
Governor Bala commended the palliative committee for a job well-done and expressed gratitude to those who contributed in cash and in kind to the committee.
Governor Bala cautioned against injustice in the exercise declaring that government will consider it as sabotage.

The State Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela who is the Chairman Task Force on COVID-19 and Lassa Fever appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for his support to the fight against the virus in the state.
He said with his support, the state government has recorded remarkable progress in the management of COVID-19 across the state.
Also speaking, the Chairman, COVID-19 Palliative Committee and Emir of Bauchi HRH (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu pledged to ensure justice in the distribution exercise so as to cushion the negative effect of the outbreak of COVID-19 to the citizens.
Those who witnessed the ceremony include the Deputy Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Secretary to the State Government, Mohammed Sabiu Baba, Chief of Staff, Government House Bauchi, Dr Ladan Salihu, Emir of Dass, Honorable Commissioners as well as other invited guests.
