Bauchi State Government has earmarked 10 million nairas for fumigation against coronavirus disease in the state.

The State Commissioner for Environment and Housing, Honourable Hamisu Muazu Shira announced this while briefing Newsmen at the commencement of the exercise at the main entrance of the Government House Bauchi.

The Commissioner explained that, the 5 days spread exercise was designed to be conducted in strategic locations within the Bauchi metropolis.” We are basically here today to begin the spread against the COVID-19, the state government has supported us to conduct this exercise.

” His Excellency, Senator Bala Mohammed has assured of his support in this exercise so as to keep the citizens from this deadly virus.

The Environment and Housing Commissioner who said over 300 personnel have been provided for the exercise, called for stakeholders support to ensure its success.
