GITEX Nigeria 2025 — Tech Expo & Future Economy Summit Drives Innovation in West Africa

Lagos, Nigeria – West Africa’s technology landscape took center stage from September 3–4, 2025, as the GITEX Nigeria Tech Expo & Future Economy Summit unfolded at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Lagos. This flagship event brought together over 3,000 tech professionals, showcased more than 100 exhibitors, and included 100+ global tech companies  .

Under the theme “Leading with Technology. Transforming Economies. Shaping the Future,” executives and government leaders explored how organizations can treat technology not as a cost center but as a core competency driving digital revenue innovation .

Simultaneously, Lagos hosted the GITEX Nigeria Startup Festival at the Landmark Centre. The largest of its kind in the country, the festival featured 1,000+ startups, 300+ investors, and a dynamic investor networking environment fostering collaboration and growth  .

GITEX Nigeria 2025—backed by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (NITDA)—made history by spanning two power cities: Abuja and Lagos. The event began with the Government Leadership & AI Summit in Abuja (September 1–2), focusing on national AI strategy and public-sector transformation, followed by the Lagos Expo and Summit  .
