ABUJA, NIGERIA – In a heartwarming moment that highlights the power of mentorship and excellence in education, 17-year-old Nigerian student, Nafisa Abdullah Aminu from Yobe State, paid a courtesy visit to Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, CON (Majidadin Daular Usmaniyya), on Tuesday to express her gratitude and present to him the global award she won at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London, United Kingdom.
Nafisa, a student of the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC), outshone over 20,000 participants from 69 countries, including native English-speaking nations, to emerge as the world’s top performer in English Language skills.
During her visit, Nafisa expressed deep appreciation to Prof. Pantami for his mentorship, support, and advocacy, while also requesting his continued guidance both religiously and academically.
In response, Professor Pantami commended Nafisa’s outstanding achievement and praised her parents, guardians, and teachers for their role in nurturing her success. He presented her with a brand-new high-performance HP laptop, a collection of mentorship books, and valuable life tips to aid her future endeavors.
Pantami’s family also encouraged Nafisa to pursue her academic journey up to Ph.D. level, stressing the importance of female education in driving societal growth and development.
