Israel has launched a fresh wave of airstrikes against Iran as the ongoing conflict between the two countries enters its second month.
According to reports, an Israeli strike on the northwestern Iranian city of Zanjan killed at least five people, believed to be members of the same family.
Despite calls from former U.S. President Donald Trump urging restraint and a pause in attacks on civilian-related facilities, Israel reportedly carried out strikes targeting industrial sites and steel manufacturing facilities in Iran’s Isfahan province.
Iran has already vowed to retaliate against the attacks, warning that it will respond strongly to the continued strikes.
