Ulamas Continues Enlightenment Of Plateau Intending Pilgrims In Makka As Hajj Approaches

Plateau state Pilgrims are being advised to take advantage of the ongoing Seminar in Mecca in order to get more knowledge and ask questions ahead of the Hajj exercise

Chairman of the Ulamas committee for the Hajj Sheikh Harisu Salihu made the call during the ongoing Pilgrims enlightenment in Mecca for the state Pilgrims

The chairman Ulamas committee for the Hajj Sheikh Harisu Salihu underscored the importance of Continuing the enlightenment of Pilgrims as the Arafat day approaches.

Sheikh Harisu appealled to the Pilgrims to always ask questions in order to gain knowledge on how to perform the Hajj, which is one of the pillars of Islam.

Executive Secretary Of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Hon. Alh. Daiyabu Dauda, on his part used the opportunity to highlight some of the changes brought by the Saudi Arabian Government for Pilgrims to adhere to.

Dauda said the Saudi Arabian Government has severe sanctions in place for any Pilgrim caught without the Nusuk Identification card which is an access card to the site of Muna, Arafat ground, and the Jamrat as according to him the service providers in Makka for Plateau Pilgrims and the Board under his leadership has taken all the necessary steps to ensure that only registered Pilgrims are allowed to perform the Hajj hence the need for all Nigerians residing in Mecca to avoid infiltrating the state Pilgrims.

Other Ulamas engaged the Pilgrims on a question-and-answer Session.

The program was attended by all the State Government Officials in Mecca.
