Godwin Nnadiekwe has reacted emotionally to the reported death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, describing the development as heartbreaking and difficult to accept. Reports say the actor died on May 12, 2026, after battling an illness privately.

In a post shared on Instagram, Godwin Nnadiekwe described Alexx Ekubo as a rare soul whose death came as a painful shock to friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
He also revealed that the late actor had reportedly prepared his will before his death, a situation he said deeply affected him emotionally.
“I’m struggling to find the words. This news has truly broken me. Nollywood has lost a rare soul,” Godwin wrote.
