Plateau State workers have received a significant boost as the Executive Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the immediate implementation of a new N70,000 minimum wage. This development follows the agreement reached by the Committee on Consequential Adjustment on Salaries on November 13, 2024.
In a press release signed by the Head of Civil Service, Stephen Pam Gadong, the Governor reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the stateβs workforce. He emphasized that the implementation of the new minimum wage underscores the governmentβs recognition of civil servantsβ critical role in driving Plateauβs developmental goals.
Governor Mutfwang urged all civil servants to reciprocate this gesture by demonstrating renewed dedication and excellence in service delivery.
