APC Holds National Convention in Abuja as Thousands of Delegates Converge

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday began its national convention in Abuja, bringing together thousands of party delegates, governors, and key political leaders from across Nigeria.
The convention, which is taking place at Eagle Square, has attracted more than 8,000 accredited delegates, including governors, lawmakers, and senior party officials.
The gathering is expected to focus on strengthening the party’s internal structure, reviewing its leadership framework, and preparing strategies ahead of future elections.
Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside members of the Federal Executive Council and other top government officials, is expected to participate in the event.

Security has been tightened around the venue as party supporters and stakeholders arrive from different parts of the country to witness the proceedings.
