Enugu Partners Haier Launch Digital Training

The Enugu State Government has entered into a collaboration with a Chinese technology company to enhance digital learning among students in the state.
The initiative was officially launched in partnership with Haier, which operates a factory in Enugu.
The programme is designed to equip secondary school students with modern digital skills, aiming to improve their knowledge of technology and prepare them for future opportunities in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Through this initiative, students will have access to training sessions that focus on basic and advanced ICT skills, helping to bridge the digital gap in education.
Officials from the state government explained that the project reflects their commitment to educational development and innovation.
They emphasized that partnering with international organizations like Haier will strengthen the quality of learning and expose students to global technological standards.
The collaboration is also expected to boost youth empowerment by providing practical skills that can support entrepreneurship and employment in the tech sector.
