Sheikh Al-Sudais Approves Taraweeh and Tahajjud Prayer Schedule for Ramadan 1447 AH

The General President of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, has approved the proposed schedule for the performance of Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers at the Haramain Sharifain during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to 2026.
The approval is part of early preparations aimed at ensuring smooth organization and spiritual enrichment for millions of worshippers expected to visit the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during Ramadan.
According to the approved arrangement, the schedule has been carefully structured to maintain order, allow ease of movement for worshippers, and enhance the overall spiritual atmosphere of the sacred month. It also takes into account crowd management, safety measures, and the well-being of pilgrims and visitors.
Sheikh Al-Sudais emphasized the importance of excellence in service delivery at the Two Holy Mosques, noting that the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia places high priority on facilitating acts of worship and creating a serene environment for Muslims from across the world.
The Presidency of the Haramain Sharifain reaffirmed its commitment to continuous planning and coordination ahead of Ramadan, including logistical arrangements, security, and religious services, to ensure that worshippers can observe Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers with devotion, comfort, and tranquility throughout the blessed month.
