Governor Yusuf Appoints New Officials, Assigns Sani Musa Danja as Special Adviser on Youth and Sports

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has announced fresh appointments and reassignments within his administration, bringing in new talents and redistributing existing roles to enhance governance and service delivery. The development was confirmed in a press release by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Dawakin Tofa, on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Among the notable appointees is celebrated Kannywood actor, Sani Musa Danja, who now serves as the Special Adviser on Youth and Sports. His appointment reflects the governor’s commitment to youth empowerment and leveraging entertainment as a tool for social development.

The list also includes Dr. Ibrahim Musa, a distinguished public health expert and hematologist from Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), who will now serve as the Special Adviser on Health Services and Personal Physician to the Governor.
