Obi, Bala Mohammed Plan United Opposition Ahead 2027

A former Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi has visited Governor, Bala Mohammed with a promised to work with him to build a united opposition platforms ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general elections in the country.
Speaking to journalist shortly after visiting the governor at Ramat House, Bauchi, Mr Obi who led a powerful delegation of Southeast political leaders said the partnership is aimed at reversing what he described as Nigeria’s current downward trajectory and securing a better future for the country and its generations.
He noted that the Bauchi governor is a critical stakeholder in Nigerian project, hence the need for them to once again seek for collaboration with him to find solutions to Nigeria’s challenges.

Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed appreciated them for the visit and promised a synergy, cooperation, and political collaboration and described the move as a step towards rebuilding trust, restoring balance, and strengthening national cohesion across regions.
The Governor further revealed that discussions touched on broader opposition alignment, noting that consultations are ongoing and could shape future political platforms.
