Fintiri Unveils ₦40,000 Education Grant for 24,000 Out-of-School Girls in Adamawa

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has launched a ₦40,000 education support programme for 24,000 out-of-school girls in Fufore Local Government Area, as part of efforts to improve access to quality education for the girl-child.
The initiative targets vulnerable girls who are currently not enrolled in school and is designed to promote inclusive education while reducing gender inequality in access to learning across the state.
Speaking at the launch, Governor Fintiri said the programme reflects his administration’s strong commitment to empowering the girl-child through education, which he described as a vital driver of social and economic development.
He explained that the ₦40,000 financial support would help beneficiaries meet basic educational needs, encourage school enrolment, and improve retention, especially in rural communities.
Governor Fintiri reaffirmed his government’s resolve to continue investing in policies and programmes that expand educational opportunities and strengthen human capital development throughout Adamawa State.
