BREAKING: Insecurity Will End After Elections – Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has attributed the recent rise in insecurity to the approaching elections, expressing confidence that the situation will improve shortly after the polls.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Nigerian Revenue Service headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, Akpabio said the unrest is being driven by political actors who, according to him, are attempting to destabilize the country ahead of the elections.

He praised President Bola Tinubu for his performance, urging Nigerians to remain patient with the current administration.

Akpabio stated that insecurity would subside within weeks after the elections, insisting that it is being deliberately fueled by individuals with political motives.

He also criticized the opposition, taking a swipe at Peter Obi, and described the opposition camp as disorganized.

The event was attended by top government officials, including senior members of the executive and legislative arms, as well as several state governors.

The newly commissioned Nigerian Revenue Service complex is a 16-floor facility designed to accommodate about 3,000 personnel, marking a significant development in the country’s revenue administration system.
