Police Detain Officers Over Abia Assault Case
The Nigeria Police Force has arrested and detained some of its operatives who were captured in a viral video assaulting passengers in Abia State, in the South-east region of Nigeria.
The video, which circulated widely on social media, sparked public outrage and renewed concerns about misconduct among security personnel.
In response, police authorities swiftly identified the officers involved and took them into custody.
