Vapi Raises $50M for Voice AI
Enterprise voice AI platform reaches one billion calls after major funding round.

Vapi has announced a $50 million Series B funding round after recording rapid enterprise growth and surpassing one billion calls handled through its AI-powered voice agents.
The funding round was led by Peak XV with participation from investors including Microsoft’s venture fund M12, Kleiner Perkins, and Bessemer Venture Partners. The investment brings Vapi’s total funding to $72 million.
According to the company, its enterprise annual recurring revenue grew tenfold as more organizations adopted its voice AI platform for customer service and automated communication systems.
Several global companies including Amazon Ring, Intuit, New York Life, and ServiceTitan currently use Vapi’s platform to deploy and manage AI voice agents at scale.
Amazon Ring reportedly implemented the system within two weeks to manage inbound customer support calls related to smart home security products. The company stated that customer satisfaction scores improved after deployment.
Vapi explained that its platform was developed to improve customer interactions through human-like voice conversations capable of adapting to customer needs in real time.
The company noted that many existing customer service systems rely on rigid automated responses that often fail to resolve issues effectively. Vapi aims to address this challenge using scalable AI voice technology.
Industry reports cited by the company indicate that poor customer experiences could place nearly $3 trillion in global sales at risk in 2026, highlighting the growing demand for advanced customer interaction technologies.
Vapi said the next phase of development will focus on reliability, compliance, and stronger governance systems for AI voice agents. The company plans to improve monitoring systems, reduce response delays, and strengthen safeguards for higher-risk workflows.
The platform currently supports businesses in sectors including healthcare, financial services, insurance, automotive, and workforce management.
The company was founded by Jordan Dearsley and Nikhil Gupta, who previously worked together on technology products before launching Vapi publicly in 2024.
Today, the company reports more than one million developers, over 2.7 million AI voice agents created, and more than one billion completed calls.
Vapi’s latest funding round reflects growing investor confidence in enterprise voice AI technology as businesses increasingly seek scalable systems capable of improving customer experience, automation, and operational efficiency.
