Ekiti APC Aspirant Raises Alarm Over Supporters’ Detention

Barrister Victor Olumuyiwa Kolade, a House of Representatives aspirant under the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, has spoken out against the alleged harassment and detention of some of his supporters ahead of the party’s primary election.
Kolade claimed that several members of his campaign team were attacked and unlawfully detained by individuals he described as political opponents seeking to intimidate his camp before the primaries.
According to him, the incidents have created tension among supporters and raised concerns about the fairness of the electoral process within the party.
The APC aspirant urged party leaders and security agencies to investigate the matter and ensure that all contestants are allowed to participate freely without intimidation or violence.
He stressed that democracy can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, justice, and equal opportunity for every aspirant.
