Mark Zuckerberg Facebook CEO has informed the agency’s 45,000 workers that they will all get hold of their six-month bonuses and an additional $1,000 bonus to assist them during the coronavirus outbreak, Facebook resources told NBC News on Tuesday.

The employer is also sending lots of content moderators home however will continue to pay them.

“We recognize that many people are going to need more time away to care for youngsters and their families, ” Zuckerberg wrote in a memo, a replica of which was received by NBC News. “We also know that many of you can have additional prices as a part of setting up your house to enable remote work and and help your family.

The news, first reported by technology news internet site The Information, came on the identical day that the company’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, announced that Facebook could be investing a hundred million ($100,000,000) to assist small businesses in over 30 countries.
