Trump Threatens Iran as War Enters Day 34

The ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has entered its 34th day, with tensions escalating after Donald Trump threatened further military strikes against Iran.

In a recent address, Trump warned that Iran could be bombed “back to the Stone Age” if no agreement is reached to end the war. He also threatened to target key infrastructure, including desalination plants that provide water to millions of Iranians.

The conflict has already resulted in thousands of deaths and many more injured or displaced across Iran, Israel, Lebanon, and other parts of the Middle East. Attacks on oil and gas facilities in several countries have also worsened the global economic impact of the war.

Following Trump’s speech, global oil prices surged. Brent crude rose to about $107 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate climbed to around $105, reflecting fears that the conflict could disrupt shipping through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Stock markets across Asia and the United States also declined amid growing uncertainty over the conflict.

Meanwhile, Iran denied claims that it had requested a ceasefire. Iranian authorities described Trump’s statements as false and insisted that the country had not sought negotiations under the current conditions.

Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, also issued an open letter to the American public, urging them to look beyond what he described as misinformation about the war.

The conflict continues with no clear sign of a ceasefire, raising concerns about further instability in the Middle East and its impact on the global economy.
