Muslim youths in the state have been charged to refrain from being used by selfish Nigerians in the name of EndSars protest.
A renowned Islamic cleric in the state Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Guruntum, made the appeal during a preaching session at S-19 Mosque, Jahun Bauchi.
Sheikh Tijjani Guruntun who said Islam does not condone any form of the rally, expressed displeasure on the way and manner the ongoing EndSars rally across some states in the country is been hijacked by thugs and hoodlums.
The Islamic cleric who observed that attacking leaders, religious scholars and worship centres by the protesters will not be tolerated, described the move as a calculated attempt against the present administration in Nigeria.
He commended Muslim youths for not taking part in the rally and urged them to sustain the tempo in the spirit of peaceful coexistence in the state and the nation at large.
Sheikh Guruntun further called on youths generally in the country not to destroy their future in the name of pleasing some disgruntled elements, urging them to remember that they are leaders of tomorrow.
The cleric who cautioned Muslim youths against joining any form of protest in the name of EndSars, advised parents to strictly monitor the movements of their wards to stop them from associating with bad eggs in the society.
